Upper Albany Main Street is proud to partner with the University of Hartford’s Barney School of Business. Through this collaboration, UAMS works alongside the University to support the Marketing/Management 282 Small Business Practicum, offered during both the Spring and Fall semesters. In addition, the University of Hartford serves as UAMS’s fiscal sponsor.
Reporting Hartford
Upper Albany Main Street is proud to partner with Reporting Hartford, a student-led digital newsroom launched by the University of Hartford and housed within its School of Communication. Reporting Hartford operates as a hybrid educational lab and community journalism platform, producing high-quality, non-partisan, public-interest reporting focused on Greater Hartford and surrounding communities. Through this partnership, student reporters cover local businesses, neighborhoods, institutions, and civic decision-making while amplifying diverse voices and highlighting the multicultural fabric of the Greater Hartford region.
