Upper Albany Merchants Embrace Digital Literacy with New Training Program

This year, Upper Albany Main Street is offering an exciting and much-needed digital literacy training program for local merchants. Designed to boost essential tech skills, this program is led by certified NorthStar instructors throughout the week.

Participants will progress through three key stages of digital literacy:

1) Basic computer skills
2) Software proficiency
3) Hardware essentials

Merchants can learn at their own pace and benefit from personalized coaching sessions tailored to their needs. Upon successfully completing all three levels, participants will receive a laptop and become eligible for a $15,000 small business grant to support their growth.

Digital literacy classes are currently running weekly on Wednesday’s during the following time slots:
Wednesday 10 am – 12 pm
Wednesday 1 pm – 3 pm
Wednesday 5 pm – 7 pm
